PUPPY Preschool - Wednesday nights
for puppies 8 to 12 weeks old

This is for pups that are not fully vaccinated. In accordance with modern theory that the first 4 months of a dog's life are the most important, we have been running special training and socialisation for these babies for over ten years.

Classes are held in the hall on a Wednesday evening. Care is taken that the area is germ-free and shoes etc. must be left at the door.

Puppy Preschool aims to:

• Socialise the pup and make him/her a well mannered and enjoyable pet to own. The pup learns to play as well as cope with lots of different people, loud noises, older dogs, children and novel stimuli early in life.
• Teach owners about the normal behaviour of dogs, how to recognize early behavioural problems and how to prevent them, as well as covering aspects such as how to house train, how to stop biting and barking, good games to play etc.
• Educate owners on other aspects of pet care i.e. nutrition, grooming etc.
