CDODC is pleased to confirm Sunday morning training has resumed for current members. We are unable to accept new members at this time. Training will run through to our regular annual closure over December and January.
Puppy pre-school has also resumed. Please note that puppy pre-school is fully booked for the remainder of 2021. We welcome enquiries for 2022 by email to preschool@croydondogclub.com.au, noting pups must be 8-12 weeks of age at time of commencement.
All classes are subject to current government COVID restrictions and limitations, and we kindly remind members that they must check in on arrival and remember to bring proof of their COVID vaccination.
As we close during December and January each year (excluding puppy pre-school), we do not expect we will be able to welcome new members to Sunday training until some time in 2022. This is as frustrating for us as it is for people who wish to join – we know it’s been hard without training, and we look forward to welcoming you to our club as soon as possible.

We are staggering our return to training out of necessity, due to high demand. Please see below for an ongoing update.

Please see below for an ongoing update on each of our class levels. Please send us an email or contact us on our Facebook if you were expecting an email and have not yet received one.

3. What else do I need to know?
COVID related requirements
When attending CDODC, please comply with all current COVID restriction requirements, such as social distancing and mask-related rules. Check-in via QR code is now mandatory for attendance at CDODC. We also ask members not to attend club if they feel unwell, and recommend dual memberships be arranged in advance of training in case of illness. Unfortunately dual memberships cannot be arranged same day and unregistered handlers will be unable to train with their dog.
Office hours
Our office is currently manned from 8.30 am to 9.30 am

Administration asks that all payments to the office and the shop please be made using Eftpos. We can still only accept small change for the barbeque, and tea and coffee.

Unfortunately we are unable to accept new members at this time. Please continue to monitor our website and Facebook for updates as we hope to take applications again in the near future. Please remember that we are a club run by volunteers and the number of classes run is based on how many volunteers we have available.
We are grateful for the patience our members have shown as we have awaited the reopening of our refurbished club rooms and grounds. We are excited to welcome back members and dogs alike, and get back to doing what we love!

About Our Club

Croydon & District Obedience Dog Club Inc. is a not-for-profit, 100% volunteer-run organisation dedicated to promoting responsible dog ownership while helping our members to enjoy life with their dogs.
In addition to teaching puppy and basic obedience classes, we train for, participate in and run a variety of canine sporting events as an affiliate of Dogs Victoria (Victorian Canine Association).

For the benefit of our members, our class numbers are limited to ensure handlers and dogs are given adequate levels of assistance.  Depending on the number of instructors we have available, this can mean there will be a long waiting period for class availability.

Please monitor this page and/or our Facebook for specific details of enrolment dates. Any free places will be filled quickly!

For further details about our training principles and enrolment, please visit our Training and Membership pages.
