Your membership covers all aspects of training at CDODC, from Preschool and Puppy Classes to Basic Obedience, and then on to further Obedience and Dog Sport Classes such as Agility, Flyball, Rally-O and Trial preparation.
On average, we start new classes every 3-4 weeks, so there may be a slight delay after joining before you can start training.
To join CDODC you will need to visit our Clubhouse office on any training Sunday between 9.15am and 10.30am.
(There is no training during December and January or on long weekends).
New memberships can only be completed in person at our office (not via email or electronically).
For pups between 8 and 12 weeks of age please follow this link to our Puppy Pre-school section for training and enrollment procedure.
When you come down to enroll you will need to bring:
- Your dog’s current Vaccination Certificate
- Photo ID Documents. We accept Australian Drivers Licence or Learners Permit, Boat Licence, Australian Shooters Licence, Australian or Overseas Passport (in English only), Australian Police Force Officer or Australian Defence Force Photo Identity Card, Consular Photo ID, Security/Crowd Control Licence, Australian Photo ID Card such as “Keycard” or similar, Australian Government Photo ID such as Working With Children Permit, Department of Justice and Proof of Age Card.
- Proof of Address (no older than 6 months). Documents such as current Utility Statement/Receipt, Phone Account/Statement, Bank Statement, Rates Notice, Council Animal Registration Notice and National Police Record Check.
We accept payment via cash, cheque or Eftpos (excluding American Express & Diners Club).

Identification documents are sighted only – CDODC does not keep on file, copy or pass information to third parties.
