Fee Structure

CDODC is run entirely by volunteers, and it is for this reason we are able to keep our training fees so low.

Membership fees

The cost for one handler and one dog to join CDODC is $98.00 for the first year, and $68.00 for each subsequent year of continued membership. Additional handlers may be added to a membership for $38.00. CDODC has no ongoing weekly fees.

It is essential that all family members who intend to train the dog at CDODC are members of the club for insurance purposes. If you would like someone else to train your dog when you are sick or otherwise unavailable, please complete their membership application online prior to their arrival at the club.

A membership fee consists of:

  • $30.00 joining fee – a once off fee, provided membership is continuous;
  • $30.00 membership fee – paid per person, per year;
  • $30.00 training fee – paid per dog, per year; and
  • $8.00 insurance levy – applies per person for all non-Dogs Victoria members. Proof of Dogs Victoria membership must be provided to avoid this levy.

We accept payment via bank transfer or Eftpos, excluding American Express.

Disclaimer: Prices are current for the 2021/2022 financial year.  CDODC reserves the right to amend its fees from time to time, as necessary for the needs of the club.

Membership period

New memberships are valid from the date of joining until 31 March of the following year.

Ongoing members must renew their membership by 31 March. Membership will then remain current from 1 April to 31 March of the following year.

Memberships cannot be transferred or refunded except in accordance with applicable laws. Please refer to our refund policy for more information.
